Camerano opens its doors once again to the most generous season of the year with a summer program infused with encounter, storytelling, and celebration. From art to science, from theatre to music, passing through conviviality and historical re-enactments: from June to September, this village nestled between the sea and rolling hills becomes an open-air stage ready to surprise and inspire.
It all begins on June 22 with “Guarda che luna” at Belvedere For de Porta, where the curtain rises on an exhibition dedicated to our Moon — featuring painting, photography, and guided stargazing under the night sky. In the evening, Piazza Roma will host music and poetry readings under moonlit lights.
In July, the theatre season “Vivi il Teatro” — curated by Nuovi Linguaggi and InCertipercorsi — returns to intertwine word, music, and performance. On July 12, “Marcovaldo”, a tribute to Italo Calvino, takes the stage, while on September 14, the Church of San Francesco will host a powerful monologue performance of “Fedra”.
On July 17, Franco Arminio brings his poetic project “Non a voce sola” to Piazza Roma, an evening dedicated to thought, poetry, and storytelling. The following day, “Cena sa la Guluppa” returns — the much-loved communal dinner under the stars celebrating Camerano’s identity during Liberiamo Camerano.
On August 2, Maurizio Socci leads a live version of “Buonasera Marche Show”, while on August 10, to the notes of Bizet’s Carmen, Luca Violini will guide audiences through a journey of opera, prose, freedom, and desire.
On July 26, the town steps back into the seventeenth century with a historical re-enactment marking the 400th anniversary of painter Carlo Maratti’s birth — Camerano’s most iconic artist. Between period costumes, live art, and baroque music, Piazza Roma will be transformed into a stage of wonder. A complementary exhibition will be held at the Church of San Francesco.
On August 29, Camerano’s Patron Saint’s Day, the Civic Merit Awards will honor individuals who embody the town’s deep bond with its community and territory.
And for the grand finale: from September 5 to 7, the Festa del Rosso Conero returns, celebrating its 30th edition — an event that unites generations in the name of wine, with tastings, music, performances, and an atmosphere filled with warmth and togetherness.
