The city of Ancona once again hosts one of its most beloved musical events: from June 28 to July 13, the Ancona Jazz Summer Festival is set to illuminate the city with a series of concerts celebrating one of the most fascinating musical genres of the twentieth century — jazz, born in the southern United States from the encounter between African and Euro-American musical traditions.

Organized by Spaziomusica, the festival is designed as a three-part journey, encapsulated in its theme: Here, There, Everywhere. It moves freely across Ancona’s most evocative locations with creativity and flair.
Once again, the lineup is exceptional: from the Italian exclusives of Roberto Magris with his Europlane for Jazz, to Buster Williams and Gerald Cannon, and culminating with the performance of Fabrizio Bosso & Rosario Giuliani. The program also features the Jazzhouse Kids of New York and the breathtaking seaside concert by Stefano Bollani.

Fifteen days of music will unfold across some of Ancona’s most iconic venues — the Mole Vanvitelliana, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Arena sul Mare, and the scenic Terrazza Moroder.
A sonic journey that perfectly embodies this year’s theme: Here, There, Everywhere.

The festival kicks off on July 1!
