From April 30 to May 4, 2025, Ancona will once again host the San Ciriaco Fair, an event that brings together culture, gastronomy, and entertainment, and remains one of the most beloved celebrations for both residents and visitors.
Organized by the Municipality of Ancona through its in-house company Ancona Servizi, the fair this year will feature several new elements that further highlight its identity and long-standing tradition.
The event’s management, entrusted to Ancona Servizi for a ten-year period, introduces a renewed visual identity celebrating the city’s patron saint.
The new logo draws inspiration from the architectural details of the Cathedral of San Ciriaco, particularly the two symbolic lions and their mane stylized as festive flags — a design meant to strengthen the fair’s status as an iconic symbol of Ancona’s heritage.
The festival will be divided into three thematic areas:
-
Viale della Vittoria will host the traditional fair with the classic market stalls.
-
Corso Garibaldi and Piazza Cavour will feature artisan and trade markets, also giving space to local volunteer associations.
-
Piazza Pertini will become the hub for street food and live entertainment, with food stands and musical performances.
This year, the fair grows even larger, with 462 exhibitors occupying nearly 10,000 square meters of exhibition space.
A major new addition is the improved logistics plan, including free shuttle services and dedicated parking areas to make it easier for visitors to reach the event.
Among the special highlights:
-
The “Ciriachini” civic awards, to be held on May 4.
-
The traditional Charity Tombola, organized by Croce Gialla di Ancona in collaboration with the creative team of Giochi Anconetani — a moment that combines solidarity, community spirit, and generous prizes.
