Since July 15, the new free evening shuttle service connecting Sirolo and Numana has officially entered operation — a first for the Riviera del Conero. After a brief testing phase, the two municipalities decided to make the service fully available throughout the summer season, aiming to improve local mobility and provide a real alternative to the use of private cars.
The transport service, managed by Francesco Reali, runs every day from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., allowing residents and visitors to travel for free between the districts of San Lorenzo and Coppo in Sirolo and Marcelli in Numana. The initiative also supports the many summer events taking place in the area, giving everyone the chance to participate without worrying about parking or evening traffic.
The project was born from the collaboration between mayors Filippo Moschella (Sirolo) and Gianluigi Tombolini (Numana), who wanted to promote a more sustainable and accessible form of mobility. Their goals include reducing noise and air pollution, improving road safety during evening hours, and enhancing a territory already known for its natural beauty and quality of life.
This initiative marks a concrete step toward a greener Riviera del Conero, where tourism blends harmoniously with environmental respect and community life.
