The city of Ancona is ready to host the 4th edition of Berta Filava, the literary festival born from the passion and love for books of Laura Fagioli (Artistic Director), Magnolia Burini (Organizational Manager) and Claudio Pauri (Director and Screenwriter).
The event aims to rekindle the love for reading in the Doric capital, celebrating not only books but also the lives and voices of the authors — those who can evoke every emotion, from fear to love, through the power of words.
This year’s theme, “Leggimi, Leggiti” (“Read Me, Read Yourself”), perfectly captures the festival’s intimate and introspective spirit.
The two-day event will take place on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 September at the SeePort Hotel in Ancona.
Participation is free but reservation is required via www.bertafilava.it or through the festival’s social media pages.
The 2024 edition is supported by The Begin Hotels, Rotary Club 25-35, Astea Energia, Love Caffè Centrale Sirolo, and Sigmar, with the patronage of the Municipality of Ancona.
🎙 Guido Guidi, The Begin Hotels (Main Sponsor)
“We are truly proud to partner with Berta Filava. Each of our hotels is not just a place to stay, but a living space in symbiosis with its surroundings.
Culture is the lifeblood of a city, and this festival perfectly reflects our philosophy.
Words matter — and this collaboration marks the beginning of a broader cultural program we wish to share not only with visitors but with the people of Ancona.”
