Following the success of the RAI TV series “Leopardi – The Poet of the Infinite”, the beautiful city of Recanati invites you to explore Montemorello, the poet’s historic neighborhood, with a special guided tour on Sunday, January 19.
Part of the new edition of “Recanati Insolita”, the tour is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Recanati, the Tourism Operators Association, the Don Giovanni Simonetti University of Continuing Education, and the Infinito Recanati Museum Circuit—an excellent opportunity to discover the deep bond between Giacomo Leopardi and Montemorello.
Guided by experts Chiarenza Gentili Mattioli and Stefania Caporalini, the itinerary includes visits to local artisan workshops, from Sartoria Latini to the goldsmith’s studio Il Crogiolo, and of course the iconic Piazza del Sabato del Villaggio.
Meeting point: Sartoria Latini (Via Roma 50) at 3:30 p.m.
