Interview with Alessandro Simonetti, owner of Hotel Galassi at Marcelli of Numana.
How and when was the hotel built?
The hotel Galassi was born as a bed & breakfast, from an idea of my mother. In 1986 we decided to expand the facility and build a hotel, taking advantage of the tourist vocation of the area and of the very favorable location, 30 meters from one of the most important beaches of the Riviera del Conero. Today the hotel Galassi is a 3-star hotel, modern and comfortable, and it still a family-run business.
What are the main features of the hotel?
Surely the direct contact with our guests. Hospitality and cleanliness are two characteristics that distinguish us, while having a small structure allows us to maintain a strong human relationship. Our guests can take advantage of B & B, half board or full board treatment.
A strong point of the hotel is definitely the location: in the center of Marcelli, only 30 meters from the beach. We have also a comfortable beach resort with umbrellas and sun beds, that our guests can attend freely, and we have an agreement with a restaurant at 90 meters from the hotel, specialized in seafood.
The breakfast buffet, full of sweet and savory, is another of our strengths: we serve it in our veranda, without time limits.
For those who love sports, we offer a range of services in agreement with others facilities: gyms, beauty salons, tennis courts, horseback riding or boating, Nordic walking courses, guided tours and more.
The hotel Galassi at Marcelli (Numana) is an ideal place for all couples and families who want to spend in complete comfort a beach vacation in the Conero Riviera: a short walk from the beach and a few kilometers from the main attractions of the area.
How are your rooms?
The hotel Galassi has 10 rooms, all with balcony, private bathroom, satellite TV with Sky channels, wi-fi internet access, telephone and air conditioning.
