How and when the beach resort started?
“Il Corallo” was born in 1999 as an evolution of a previous bathing in the seafront of Numana. Over the years, the structure has expanded and today is a real small sea village, with many services: a restaurant specializing in seafood with private parking, a large beach resort, fitness room, beach volleyball court, playground for the kids, gazebo and 3 hot tubs. The beach is well equipped: in addition to umbrellas and cabins, you can rent canoes and paddleboats or book diving lessons.
What are the main features of the restaurant?
“Il Corallo” restaurant specializes in seafood: our fish dishes are born from the rediscovery of the recipes from the Marche region, and therefore we are the ideal place for tourists looking to experience local food and wine. In addition, we also make excellent pizzas cooked in a wood oven, for those who fancy a pizza at the seaside of Numana, even late at night.
For a quick lunch during July and August, we have a rich self service with many tantalizing dishes to be enjoyed under a parasol.
You can enjoy lunch or dinner even in the outdoor seating overlooking the sea.
What are your cuisine's characteristics?
The seafood dishes are loyal to the local cuisine, with flavors and products closely linked to the land of the Conero. We also offer meat dishes and a tasty pizza cooked in a wood oven.
And there's more: we have an handmade ice cream shop and our cocktail bar prepares relentlessly refreshments. Much appreciated is the aperitif on the beach, on the seafront of the Riviera del Conero, that we propose each evening with cocktails and soft drinks, as the 'Mojito 0' and 'Caipirinha 0'.
